INTRODUCING THE LETHBRIDGE RESIDENCY PROGRAM

ARTIST IN RESIDENCE: JULIE PURCELL

After starting her creative life as a corporate graphic designer, Julie took an experimental leap by completing a BFA (Hons) at Queensland College of Art in 2017. Her passion for local art drives her to create in her hometown of Redcliffe, where she is an active member of the Redcliffe Art Society and the Moreton Bay Arts Council. Since leaving art school she has had the privilege of being featured in 15 Artists hosted by the City of Moreton Bay (2021 & 2023), the Moreton Bay Region Art Prize (2016, 2019 & 2024), and the 2024 Brisbane Portrait Prize.
