The world is heavy, burdened with thoughtless decisions driven by greed & hate.
It’s hard to witness and not feel powerless. But I still believe in good days – I stubbornly hold onto hope because there is no other option. Optimism, kindness and holding each other up is growth in the face of adversity – these things are what will keep us afloat.

Chilu, in her tender triumph Still Believe in Good Days, offers a vibrant vision as delicate and crisp as breath upon glass. The piece speaks of her own journey- each stroke a remembrance, each hue a quiet petition for hope and tomorrow. Hovering between sorrow and radiance, it is exquisite in its fragile joy. The work becomes a vessel of her spirit, reminding us that even broken days can yield miracles.

During the pandemic, scenes of panic played out in supermarkets across Australia where we as a group were given the dubious honor of being the first to hoard that special paper for down under. What was once a headline that dominated the news has been quickly forgotten with the passage of time. Whilst comical to look back on, it’s important to record these moments in time lest history repeat itself.
