Zac Moynihan is a Brisbane/Meanjin based oil painter. He is obsessively drawn to the landscape to capture the light and atmosphere. Following in the footsteps of Australia’s great landscape painters, Zac ventures en plein air, his use of colour and representation aiming to capture the inherent sense and reverence of our home. He is drawn particularly to deep vistas and dramatic skies, the colours and atmosphere of the Australian landscape. In a world where humanity draws ever inwards, it is Zac’s hope that his paintings inspire people to look out and revel in what lies before them.
