A Brief History
Margaret is a contemporary realist oil painter currently residing in Noosa and specialising mainly in figurative work and still life. After graduating in Anthropology and Sociology she went on to complete postgraduate work in Education and the Visual Arts in the early 1980's. She gave up teaching art in international schools in Nepal and Thailand to pursue a full time art career 25 years ago. She is a juried member of two international groups - Artists for Conservation and the International Guild of Realism - and has exhibited in Bangkok, Singapore, London, and in various cities and towns around the US and Australia.

2024 Five works selected as part of the Lunar Codex Nova Collection on the moon, launched to the Lunar South Pole February 14, 2024, carrying the artwork of 1,000 artists. She was also featured in a multi award winning documentary “The Art Side of the Moon” about the Lunar Codex project.
