Brett Lethbridge

Owner and Director of Lethbridge Gallery

Brett Lethbridge is a distinguished Australian artist, gallery owner, and creative professional with a multifaceted career in the visual arts. In 2004 he founded Lethbridge Gallery in Paddington, Brisbane, which has become a vibrant hub for contemporary art by leading and emerging artists. Through the gallery, he also plays an active role in promoting the broader arts community, including the management of major art prizes and exhibitions in Queensland.

In addition to his painting practice, Brett has long contributed to the cultural landscape as an editorial illustrator and cartoonist, with work published in major Australian newspapers and recognised with multiple Stanley Awards.

Manager of Lethbridge Gallery

Summer Aldis is an Australian artist, curator, and arts professional. As the manager and curator of Lethbridge Gallery, she oversees the gallery’s exhibition program and plays a key role in the delivery of its annual art prizes, supporting both emerging and established artists. Alongside her professional practice, Summer maintains her own artistic career, bringing a thoughtful and informed perspective to her work. Notably, she is also a past recipient of the Small-Scale Art Award, having won the prize in 2021, giving her a unique insight into the judging process from both sides.
